Why am I talking about job hunting?

Why indeed am I talking about job hunting instead of how to start a practice? The short answer…because it matters.

In this episode, my guest, Renee Dahring, APRN, FNP, FAANP, and I address a growing concern within the nurse practitioner (NP) community: the challenge of finding employment for both new and seasoned NPs.

While I usually focus on topics related to NP practice ownership, it’s extremely important that the NP gains experience and has support in a clinical setting, especially when they are a new NP.

Renee and I delve into the reasons why starting a practice immediately after graduation may not be the best approach. Additionally, we discuss alternative career paths and the increasing demand for employed positions.

To shed light on effective job search strategies, Renee shares her expertise and valuable insights.
