This past Monday, on Christmas Eve, I was able to give a young woman some wonderful news that she had been anxiously awaiting. She’d had a breast biopsy the previous Thursday. We were closed that Monday, but I knew she would be waiting. So I called the pathologist and then called her. What a gift to be able to tell her the thing everyone was so such was cancer, was indeed not.Â
This is just one of the reasons I do what I do…for the moments when you ease someones fears and see the tears of joy.
