Nurses and Nurse Practitioners blogging! If you are not yet aware of The Nerdy Nurse, Brittney Wilson, BSN, RN, you should get to know her. She runs the Nerdy Nurse Blog and has been featured on the SAGEClinician Podcast.
Britney recently posted The Ultimate List of Nurse Blogs and Social Media Accounts to Follow. It’s a great list, and NPBusiness.ORG is honored to be included. If you don’t know why you should consider blogging, read her post about Nurses Need to Learn: The business of Blogging. It’s something I’ve been saying for years.
A post draft (i.e., started but not yet published – life sometimes gets in the way of blogging!) has been in the works on NP bloggers and podcasters (yikes, I must finish it!). Let me highlight now a few Nurse Practitioners who blog to help round out Brittney’s list.
- Dr. Rachel Silva blogs @ Dr. Rachel’s NP Blog @ https://yourahi.org/blog/. She also has a podcast you should check out at The Nurse Practitioner Show.
- Brett Snodgrass is a long time blogger and you can find your at The NP Mom. She is answering the questions the rest of us forget to ask.
- Barb Dehn, also a long time blogger is at Nurse Barb’s Daily Dose.
I promise to get a larger list of NP Bloggers and Podcasters out soon. In the meantime if you are a NP blogger/podcaster, I invite you to tell us tell us about your blog in the comments below.

It’s just got up and running so I’d love to join your community to gain inspiration. My blog aims to document my journey throughout my career and to really get to the heart of what it is to be a nurse. I also hope to discuss current issues in nursing and about am to start a post about emotional resilience and intelligence
