Thanks Barbara, love the ad placement. You are wonderful.
Hello Barbara,
I’m a student NP and working towards a capstone project with the real efforts to open up a practice on the coast of Maine in about 1.5 years. I’m glad to have found your site, toward others experiences in the past. It is giving me many ideas towards my eventual corporate structure to plan for. Especially how creative one needs to be to succeed.
Regards,
JT
I have opened an independent NP clinic1 1/2 years ago and employ 4 staff and looking tohire a pt NP shortly. I am interested in how many np’s are performing botox and dermal fillers through their clinic. I am privately owned with a colloborate md who doesn’t want the pain of botox so I am seeking onyone who can offer some thoughts as to how I can get this project off the groung.!
Hi Diann,
I don’t know if there are any numbers about how many NPs are working with botox and fillers…but there are several who have their own practices in this area.
In order to expand your practice into this area, you’ll want to be sure that you have a need and clients that will pay for the service. There are plenty of companies that will train you, either in their product or an independent company that will provide generic training.
Be sure and check your practice act for your location…that can sometimes be a barrier.
Best wishes!
