Several months ago the American Academy of Nurse Practitioenrs (AANP) launched NPFinder.com, a unique on-line NP locator service to help consumers find an NP in their area. To date, almost 3,000 AANP members have registered their practice sites where they are accepting new patients and more than 39,000 people have visited the website to search for an NP.
If you are an AANP member and have not registered your practice site or need to update your information, please take a few minutes to do so now. Add or edit your practice site at NPFinder here. NPFinder also provides a map to pinpoint the practice location.
NPFinder.com will be showcased during the AARP conference in Washington, DC, September 4 – 6 and will be publicized in the October Woman’s Day magazine. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to promote your practice to consumers who are looking for an NP in their area.
