As 2009 comes to a close, I’ve been looking back and reflecting on these past 12 months.
On a personal level, it’s been a year of change and thus, growth. As is true for most of us, there have been some wins and some loses. Often those loses are lessons in life, giving us strength and direction as we move forward.
There are many, many things and people in my life that I am grateful for. NPBO™ has grown tremendously this past year…and it’s all because of YOU!
I value the connections I have made through the newsletter, interviews, Facebook, and most of all through our interactions on the calls, in the forum and in private. In some cases, I had the tremendous opportunity to meet you and share coffee, exchange ideas and leave with a hug.
It’s been truly a blessing to watch you spread your entrepreneurial wings and grow. I so look forward to continuing our journey together in the coming year!
On a professional level, I’m committed to working with more of you to assist you in your business development and growth. Recently the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) published their predictions for 2010: among them was the expected growth in NP run clinics and retail health.
In other words, we need to be ready to assume a greater role not only in the clinical arena, but also in the business of health care. This includes those of us with entrepreneurial spirits, AND those of us who wish to remain employed – we will all need savvy business skills in order to thrive in the coming year. Will you be ready?
My wish for you in 2010 is to experience an abundance success, fulfillment and joy in your personal, spiritual and professional life. I look forward to continuing this journey and appreciate you being in my life.
Peaceful blessings,
Barbara
