Insurance Free (aka Cash) Practice

Published by bcp at 9:22 pm under General

Waitiing RoomLots of people talk about developing a cash practice. And with good reason. Having to bill insurance companies, wrangle back and forth with them about payment for covered procedures is a nightmare.  It can really drive up the cost of care/overhead by the time you factor in staff time it takes to research the problem and correct it. Of course, it can really put a damper on your practice cash flow as well.

The Association of American Physicians has published articles and reference material on the topic of “How To Start A Third Party Free Practice“. Have a look a various practices that are incorporating this idelogy and see if there is something you can incorporate into your own practice.
